This blueberry protein smoothie bowl will give you the start you need in the morning.
Ingredients
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a loaf tin.
In a large bowl sift both kids of flour. Add the husks from the wholemeal flour into the bowl.
Add the oat bran, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.
Stir in the walnuts and chopped apples.
In another bowl combine the egg, yogurt, golden syrup, oil and vanilla essence.
Pour the liquid ingredients over the flour mixture and stir to combine - do not over-mix.
Pour in the batter and bake for about 1 hour or until a cake skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin for 10 minutes.
Turn onto a wire rack to further cool.
