Cheese & Bacon Yogurt Bread Sticks

Add some delicious crunch to your next platter with these cheese and bacon bread sticks.

Makes about 15 



  • 2 ½ cups plain flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp fresh chopped herbs - parsley, thyme or rosemary
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic & herb salt
  • 2-3 rashers bacon, rindless, finely diced and cooked (or use chopped shaved ham or salami)
  • 1 cup EasiYo Greek Style Unsweetened Yogurt
  • Cracked pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 185°C and line 2 trays with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl mix the flour with the grated cheese, chopped herbs, paprika, garlic salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chopped bacon or diced ham and mix well.
  4. Stir in the yogurt and mix well until the mixture forms a soft dough.
  5. Dust a clean dry surface with flour and pat the dough out with your hands or a rolling pin to form a large rectangle.
  6. Cut into 2cm strips and carefully lift each onto the lined trays, leaving room for spreading.
  7. Brush with milk and sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
  9. Serve on a platter with your favourite savoury dip or sauce.
